Useless on Macs with multiple IPs on the same Interface
Due to one of the networks I frequently connect to having two subnets, I have two IP addresses on en1. These show up in System Preferences as Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi 2. Wi-Fi uses DHCP so it can work anywhere, but LanScan ignores this. It only scans with the second address when set to use en1. Since there is no way to choose what to scan besides selecting the interface, it is impossible for me to scan the network Im connected to with wi-fi without deleting the secondary configuration on en1. Since I use the secondary subnet more frequently than I would use LanScan, Id rather delete LanScan than the secondary configuration on the interface.
