Perfect for attaching your own names to devices on your LAN

Worth it just for the feature that let’s you assign any name you like to each device that shows up on your LAN. The names can be as long as you like. Much better than the cryptic or non-existent host names that most devices report. For example, instead of your HP printer showing up as “NPI9AC6C8” you can call it “HP Laser Jet 2605dn in the basement”. Pretty useful if you have dozens of devices on there with weird host names and you have no idea what they are. You have to fork out $5 for the pro version for this to work properly, but you can demo it for free.
